We changed veterinarians after we got our new puppy. Although we liked our old place, we wanted to try some where that is smaller so we get consistency during our visits instead of seeing some one new each time. We feel that we’ve found that at CRAH.
Jack is not eating as I felt he should be. Very picky about all foods. I feel better knowing that he’s healthy and that when it’s hot, dogs, like bears, tend to ‘hibernate’ where they don’t eat much. That was great relief to me.
The staff at crystal river animal hospital are the best. I first started going there when my previous vet could not see my dog for over two weeks with some thing that I felt was important to have taken care of right away I called them and even though I was not yet a patient they agreed to have me come in within two days to have my dog checked (my baby needed surgery) and have the records transferred and I’ve been happy going there ever since

I have been taking my dog Ruff to Crystal River Animal Hospital since he was 10 weeks old. I did so because they were recommended. I have lived in Citrus for almost 40 yrs and have been to a lot of other vets. None have been bad, however none have such an old school caring feel better than Crystal River Animal Hospital. Thank you CRAH
Needed some special care for my baby and got it at Crystal River Animal Hospital, they didn’t have an opening but worked us in. Giving my boy what he needed and making me feel good about bringing him in. Everyone was great and understood the pain he was going through. The entire staff was amazing. Thank you all.
We had to bring our senior dog back to the vet do 2 severe stomach issues. After searching for emergency vets without any luck. I waited in the parking lot before they opened and they were able to get me in once they opened without any hassle. Our senior dog was severely constipated. The doctor fixed her up within minutes and now she’s back to being her old self. Thank you again so much for all you do!
Staff was friendly and made friends with my dog right away. Dr. And assistants were very gentle and explained all procedures. I think my dog had a good experience!
